Dedication
This website is dedicated to the girls and their coaches who began this journey in 1967. In the days before Title IX, the girls team was not allowed to be on the track while the boys were practicing. Undaunted, those first teams got up early and came to practice before school. Many practiced individually at home in the evening. We are indebted to your determination and perseverance in the face of many obstacles.
It is our best hope that when we run, jump, vault, and throw, we honor your competitive spirit.
